SUPER STOKED – CAPE TOWN HERE WE COME!

I was looking around Facebook today and came across the link to Ultimate X, emailed some people and got myself an invite.  Looking so forward to it and having some fun with the boys.  I haven’t been to Cape Town since the last one.  Hope to see everyone there.

OH MY WORD, what a day! Just over 24 hours ago my link for my trailer “i_am_thalente” went live on youtube and I have received over 3000 views. I woke up this morning early to wait in queues to book my learners license, got home to an inbox full of emails of how people want to help me. Kevin offering donations, fellow skaters Pierre, Clint, Eddie giving me product i need, Steve volunteering to help with a website for me and many more where that came from. To many people to mention them all but just want to show my appreciation and wanted to keep everyone up to date on my progress.  Really,  thank you everybody so much, this plays a big part in my life.   Lots of love to everyone.  Peace!

Hello peeps!  Its has been a while since my last post.  Yesterday I injured my hip so I decided to get back to blogging as there is nothing else to do besides watching movies, eating chocolate and playing on the internet.  Taking it easy up the North Coast to heal.  Below are some pics from friends.  I guess I am going to posting things more often now.  Enjoy

A weekend of celebrations – Easter + Tams Bday!

Spent my Easter weekend with The Jersey Boys and Tam in Ballito at the Secret Spot.  Watched them all surf as I am still in a cast.  Sunday we went to Gateway to flow ride.  Obviously I was watching again because I’m injured but couldn’t take the temptation of the skate park right there so I had to roll around a bit.  I took it really easy though.  I am back in Durban now and about to go to Gateway again to skate.  Can’t take it any longer!!!!  NEED TO SKATE!

Fractured Arm…

Last weekend I skated “Get Made” by Zoo York.  Well done to Matt Chaplin and Ryan Arends who won the sponsorship.  I on the other hand tried to do a fakie full cab melon over the spine and fractured my arm ;(  !!!!!!!  Not stoked.  In a cast!  No surfing – No skating = boredom.  In Ballito now with Tam and the jersey boys.  Back in action soon-ish.
