Prime Time

So happy right now!  Yesterday I got filmed for Etv news.  Tonight it aired on the second segment of prime time news.  Exposure is good.  Happy days.  I will try post the interview soon.

Jersey Boys & AV Skateboarding Issue 05

Just two little updates to give you today: a picture of the Jersey Boys who have been taking care of me for the last 2 months. These are some of my best friends!!! The other update is AV Skateboarding Issue 05. They were handing out this DVD free at the contest in Cape Town. I got a couple clips from contests I did through out last year. So stoked!!!!!!!!!

Cape Town Trip – I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, I am back from my Cape Town trip.  I would say that this was probably one of my best trips I have ever been on because it was my first time flying (which was scary) and I won the Pro-X.  Tammy-lee and I arrived in the Mother City on Thursday and that night we got invited to this Oakley launch because Tam is sponsored by them.  What a cool brand!  I got hooked up with a cool pair of Jupiters.  Thanks Oakley!  There were some rather famous people at the launch and I got to meet Bryan Habana and Roxy Louwe.

Friday we drove around the city site seeing and took some photos on Signal Hill.  What a beautiful city but their soccer stadium isn’t nearly as cool as ours.

Saturday I skated at Pro-X the whole day which was fun but only half the ramp had coping.

Sunday morning I woke up early amped for the contest which had to be moved to Woodstock (Jamies Spot).  It was a really sick & smooth ramp. Shot to Jamie for letting us skate his ramp.  Everyone was skating well.   Mossie, Oscar, Siya, DlumDlum and Bergan were the stand outs in my eyes.  I’m really stoked that I won and thanks to Mossie for letting me win for once 😉  I would like to thank Element and Pro-X for running this cool event especially Dave Allan, Clint and everyone else who was there at the contest.
